Stanley S03E09 “No News Like Snow Shoes”, “Ladybug, Ladybug”

“No News Like Snow Shoes” Stanley, Dennis and Harry spend the night at Grandmother Griff's and help cook delicious soup for Mrs. Shirley, the neighbor, because she has a cold. When the friendly helpers want to set off, they realize that they have been taken in. It's good that Stanley has his big book with everything in it! Because from the snowshoe hare they learn how to make practical snowshoes! “Ladybug, Ladybug” Stanley, Harry and Elsie pull dandelions out of the lawn because they want everything to look neat for the hobby garden competition. Stanley's dad is hoping to win a prize this year with his pretty roses! But what is that?! The roses are infested with aphids! There has to be a way to get rid of them. But definitely not with insect repellent, because the Griff family is very environmentally conscious. On a trip to the Big Book where everything is written, Stanley meets the gardeners' little friends - ladybugs!
